We are happy it finally rained! We had to have two indoor recesses but it was worth it! Today we finally got our R.O.C.K. S.T.A.R. Binders. We will use these to keep organized.  We went to P.E. this afternoon. We played a game called Zap and Moon Monster. We made it to twelve minutes during our read to Read-to-Self time during Daily 5.

We have almost made it through our 3rd day of school! Some of us will be riding the bus home, and some of us will be picked up by our parents. Some of us even have to go to daycare. We have noticed that there are lots of new teachers in our building this year. Some of the new teachers are: Ms. Wilkinson, Ms. Rachford, Ms. Gulzinski, Ms. Cronbaugh, and Ms. Niemeier. In math we worked on the 100 number chart. We had to point to numbers as Mrs. Ferrell read them off. Then we played "Simon Says" to work on listening skills and to practice directions. We also played a game called "Who Am I."We all made riddles and people had to guess who it was. We went to music today. In music we sang "Baa Baa Black Sheep," and we sang a "Hello" song.  In reading we worked The Daily 5. We have been working on our stamina. We are able to read for six minutes now. Our focus is Read-to-Self. Today was our first day using our word wall. In english we worked on nouns. A noun is person, place, or thing.

Well it is finally here! I officially start school tomorrow! I will be seeing all of my little students soon..
